Ebac's Outstanding Three Peak Challenge - Just a Drop
23rd March 2018
In July 2017 five Ebac employees undertook the Three Peak Challenge. The team which ranged from age 18-60, took on Scafell Pike in England, Ben Nevis in Scotland and Snowdon in Wales in 24 hours to raise money for three chosen charities; Cancer Research UK, The Olivia Mae Foundation and Just a Drop.
Just a Drop provides sustainable safe water, sanitation and life changing hygiene education to communities in need. Over 844 million people around the world do not have access to clean, safe water. With clean water, communities can begin to lift themselves out of poverty and build brighter futures. Learn more about Just a Drop.
Through 2017/18, the British Water Cooler Association and its membership have raised a fantastic £10,277 which has helped improve the lives of over 115,103 people across 8 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Now, in 2018, Ebac are delighted that enough funding has been raised through donations from the Three Peak Challenge and other BWCA member events for a borehold in Kutemwa Village, Zambia.
This challenge was a demanding experience for the team - even more so with the added weight of a 13kg dehumidifier - but one that was rewarding for all. The Three Peak Challenge and the donations and fundraising events leading up to the challenge, helped Ebac raise an outstanding £2,297 for Just a Drop.
