It can be challenging deciding between reliability and price when buying an appliance. Of course, we want something to last a long time, but do we really have to fork out so much cash for it?
What’s more important, reliability or price? And what if there was a manufacturer that met both criteria? Read on to find out more.
Reliability or Price
Unfortunately, you usually have to choose one or the other. You don’t often get reliability and a bargain.
Cheap washing machines are typically made up of cheap, low-quality parts. They use a basic motor design, such as a simple brushless motor. The problem is that the components touch each other, causing friction when the washing machine is working. Eventually, this wears down the materials, resulting in faults and breakages.
A more expensive yet reliable design is a brushless inverter-driven motor. This design steers clear of friction, using electromagnetic forces to drive the drum instead. The components don’t touch, so they won’t degrade over time.
A higher price tag also indicates better durability. A welded flywheel can be swapped for a cast flywheel, resulting in a much more reliable washing machine.
Ebac’s Washing Machines
Ebac washing machines benefit from brushless inverter-driven motors, cast flywheels, a thick plastic case around the drum, and durable physical aspects. And they won’t break the bank.
And what’s more, Ebac offers a 7-year labour and parts warranty. So, if any parts do break, an expert will fix your washing machine for free!
